What We Do:
This agency serves two specific
functions; It represents select bands that we feel are exceptional in what
they do, and it networks with successful, professional musicians from across
the country who are willing to share their experience to help other less
successful musicians. In other words, we help the public find the right band
for their wedding, corporate event, party or charity event while helping good musicians find work.
Representing bands:
Entertainment Connection works with both consumer and corporate clients who
are looking to book serious, hi-quality bands, where they can find live
music without the infusion of midi, effects or electronic assistance. We
work with bands that play Classical, classic and contemporary Jazz, Rock &
Roll, Folk and Ethnic. We do not work with Rap or Hip-Hop groups. We book bands in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, DC.

What You Get By Booking A Band Through Us:
We represent great bands that play great music, and we manage the bands we
represent. If you want Rock & Roll, we'll give you Nexus, and we'll have your
group up and dancing all night long. If you want background ambiance, or if
you are looking for a great band for cocktails, or if you want a band that can
show off their flashy Jazz moves either as background or as a spotlight band,
we'll suggest the Choper Jazz Project. If you want to dance to the music of a
generation ago, we'll suggest the The Jazz Connection. And, if you can't make
up your mind, like it all, or have a guest list that includes people of all
ages or backgrounds, we'll arrange for the band to play a bit of everything.
In fact, if you have a European audience, we'll provide the ethnic music to
fit that crowd exactly as you desire it as well.
The purpose behind this agency is to provide bands that can play the highest
quality music, of just about any style, for an audience of just about any

Networking with musicians:
When not booking performances, the agency
networks with great musicians to pick their brains for advice so that their
experiences can be shared with musicians who are looking to find their own
way in this convoluted, difficult business, where the best of the bands and
musicians are often buried in the pile along with the mediocre, creating a
very difficult marketing/PR environment. Hopefully, by networking people
together, we can help some of the great players and bands find their own
successes.
Brian Choper, the owner and founder, is key
in networking and building these relationships. As a drummer, drum and
percussion instructor, author and band manager, he tries to be available to
answer your questions, whether they be related to music, percussion or
